Steering Damper Mods

These steering dampers that come on the crfs are quite trick. I built these dampers years before they even hit the productiuon line at Team Honda for guys like Kevin Windham, Ricky Carmichael and others. They were actually a little more trick than these production ones, but the new ones are just as good.

The 2009 and 2010 CRF450 suffer from high speed headshake due to new geometry changes. With MB1s modifications to your steering damper, Head shake is greatly reduced. We make changes to the damping system internally to slow the action down for increased stability in your steering damper.  We also stock many steering damper parts.

CRF Steering Damper service is now available from MB1. There is no other company that has this much experience with these Steering Dampers in the Industry. MB1s Steering Damper Settings and Service is now available to the public! Same as Rear Shock Dampers, These Steering Dampers should be serviced every 30hr intervals for best performance and consistent damping control.

Your steering damper is completely dissembled and cleaned and checked for normal wear. Oil seals are replaced, parts are inspected, fresh fluid is installed, proper assembly is obtained. Improvements can be felt in stability and control of the front end in rough or choppy Areas.
