You may run the chain adjustment on the swingarm most of the way to the front or towards the rear of the adjustment range and add or remove links as necessary. With the rear axle pushed forward or towards the front, you will get a little better traction. If there are a lot of fast sections, then it may be better to run a longer wheelbase. On a track with a lot of fast roller, the long wheelbase works good. If the track is tighter, usually a shorter wheelbase is better.

You must realize that these chassis adjustments offer small changes in overall handling, yet a noticable improvement will be realized in the areas specified. If you do change your wheelbase, be sure to recheck race sag measurements if necessary/

MB1 Hot tip- These swingarms have over 20mm of adjustment, and depending on whether your rear wheel is all the way forward or back, your shock will not feel the same. When the rear wheel is all the way forward, there is less leverage on the shock which will make it feel stiffer. With the wheel moved all the way to the rear, this will make the shock feel softer. For most short riders, I like to run the wheel all the way back.
